Chinlone is the traditional sport of Myanmar where a hand-woven rattan ball is kept floating up in the air by using ones feet, knees, and head.

This photo series is shot in Mae Sot, a small Thai border-town on the edge of Myanmar where many Burmese refugees and migrant workers live, work, and play. Many of the people's living situations are usually up in the air; awaiting visa from a first world country or struggling to stay on the Thai side away from their home country of Myanmar.
